Levi Marcus is a 23-year-old student, born and raised on the island of Trinidad and Tobago. In 2015, he moved to New York to study Fashion Business Management at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), in pursuit of his dreams in the fashion industry. Levi was not just your average student; from the age of 18 he began building his brand, ‘Levi Marcus’ with the help of his friends and family. The brand began by him designing ‘Dad Caps’ embroidered with his iconic logo (his signature) and designs that represented his culture in a unique and individualistic way. It was also serendipitous that Levi was able to build his brand while attending FIT. This certainly assisted in teaching him valuable lessons about his trade. As the brand evolved, he also designed t-shirts and beanies and has even created a few unique hand painted pieces in his own style while maintaining the essence of his culture. In addition to designing, Levi, who also has a passion for photography, captures his designs in a very candid style of imagery that is crucial to the impact of his work. Levi lives to create a brand that communicates Caribbean culture to the world, to be the pioneer of ‘Caribbean Street Wear’ through the art of fashion at the highest recognizable level. It is his overall goal for Levi Marcus to be an international iconic symbol of the Caribbean; to be a classic and not just a trend, forever embedded in the culture of his origin. 

His dream is to transport the wearer to the Caribbean...for them to feel the culture as defined in the Brand’s slogan...
